I had a wonderful weekend with 3/4 of the family home. We missed my son who stayed at school for the holiday weekend, but I am sure he was happy to stay in warmer weather.

It was miserably cold outside this weekend! In fact, Monday morning registered at -17 degrees with the windchill. That is nasty! I don’t know how you feel about those kind of temperatures, but I have absolutely NO desire to step outside when it is that cold.

So, I got lots of indoor gym time this weekend and I am posting one of my current favorite workout tunes for you to enjoy today. It motivated me many times this weekend!

This song is by Cash Cash, an Electronic Dance Music (EDM) group from New Jersey. Their music has also been labeled as pop or house dance music. I label it as great “move me” music! 🙂 The group consists of two brothers – Jean Paul and Alex Makhlouf, and Samuel Warren Frish. The three men write, produce, and mix all of their music together. Bebe Rexha, who performs vocals for this song, is a young singer-songwriter from Brooklyn, New York. This song is the group’s highest charting song thus far.

❤ ❤ HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! ❤ ❤

I am not a flowers and chocolate kind of girl on Valentine’s Day, but I love taking the opportunity to tell those I love how much I love them. I hope that you have been lucky enough to spend time today with the one that you love.

Establishing a tradition that I started last year, I am posting a song by David Myles for Valentine’s Day. I love him and his music and this song is just the perfect sentiment for the day. On top of that, David Myles is maintaining his Valentine tradition of giving away a free little love songClick here to make sure you get your free copy of this sweet love song.

Song of the Day – “Stolen Dance” by Milky Chance

A quick song at the end of a very, very long day. I am exhausted, but refuse to skip Day 2 of my new posting run. 🙂

This song is by the German duo, Milky Chance, and is off their debut album, Sadnecessary. The duo is made up of singer/songwriter Clemens Rehbein and DJ Philipp Daush who met in an “Advanced Music Course” in the eleventh grade. You may already be familiar with them and this song, but my son and I kept listening to it while driving to and from the airport for a golf tournament a few weeks ago and I just have wanted to share it ever since.

Okay, it is only 9pm, but I am physically and mentally exhausted … I am off to bed. No stolen dance for me tonight. 😉

I’m BAAAACK …

Well, I have to admit that I have probably set the record for the longest break from a “daily” blog post. Many of you probably wondered if I would ever return. To be honest, so did I! 🙂 Once you get out of a routine, it is sure hard to get back into it. If it had not been for the prodding of many people (including being given the assignment yesterday to “post on your blog!!” from my daughter), my break may have continued.

Life has been crazy and it amazes me that I have not posted in 3 months! It all started with my visit to China where I was without access to most of the internet pages that I needed – WordPress, YouTube, Facebook – and so I was not able to post. I returned home to the holidays, kids home from school, vacations, medical issues, and … here we are today.

So, I am taking the plunge and starting to write again. I have NOT taken a break from music over these last few months, so I still have a lot to share with you. Thanks for sticking with me and I hope this song let’s you know that I am still here and “I’m Good!”

I have posted songs by The Mowgli’s before and I love their sound. They are just so cool and their music makes me happy. This song really resonated with me – I love the beat and the lyrics are fantastic too. This is their new single from their upcoming album, Kids in Love. The single is available now and the album has an expected release date in early April. Enjoy!
