I am posting very late today. It is a busy time of the year and it seems like this if the first chance I have had to sit down and think about which song I wanted to share today.
Today I am sharing a song that I really enjoy from a band called The Mowgli’s. When I first heard their name, I was certain that they had named themselves after the Jungle Book character. In actuality, they named themselves after one of the band member’s dogs, but the dog was named after Mowgli from Jungle Book … so that counts.
The Mowgli’s are an eight-piece alternative rock band from Southern California, with a breezy sound, who broke out on Billboard’s Alternative charts this year with their song, “San Francisco”. The song that I am posting today is from their album, Waiting For The Dawn, released earlier this year; it is probably my favorite song off the album. It is a very catchy tune with adorable lyrics. Hope you enjoy this one and check out the band if you are not familiar with them. “The Mowgli’s have set out to win your heart and save the world with love, laughter, and hand claps.”
For those who asked, my husband did make it safely home on Saturday night, although the drive from the airport to home was the most treacherous part of his journey. While driving at a snail’s pace, they passed an overturned semi-truck on the icy roads of I-95. I was glad that he made it home safe and sound.
