“We’re in love like the love that’s in our favorite songs.”
That is my favorite line of lyrics from this song. I just so relate to that sentiment.
This is a very sweet, catchy tune. I really like it! The song is by The Icarus Account, a group made up of two twin brothers – Ty and Trey Turner. They began playing music at a very young age and by the time they were 12 and started playing guitar, they had developed a real connection with music and the emotion it sparked. The music they write expresses that same emotion, which has always been their goal. Ty describes their desire to “strike an emotional chord with their listeners” on their website in this way:
“We try to write songs that are honest and relatable” …”One of the most beautiful things about writing songs is that it proves how connected all of us really are.”
I was introduced to The Icarus Account on Twitter. As a new Twitter user, I was so happy that we crossed paths there because I might have missed out on their music. I want to make sure that you don’t miss out on their music and so I am sharing this song today.
