HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
To all the mothers out there, I wish you an incredibly Happy Mother’s Day!
I love that I have the opportunity today to make certain that I tell my mom how much I love her and how important she is to me, but I hope that she knows it every single day. I have an incredible mom. I think she is the most amazing woman and my life has been so blessed to have her as my mom.
I think my mom is so cool. She has always been such a “goer” and “doer” and really instilled that sense of being active and adventurous in me. She has so many amazing talents and always made our home such a wonderful place to be. Even today, I love going home to my parents house. I love the smell, I love the warmth, I just love being there. In fact, even though I am grown up and a mother myself, my mom is the only person I want when I am sick. She has always been the one person who makes me feel better. My mom is the most giving and generous person, and has always been my #1 fan and supporter (along with my dad, of course). In addition to all of these wonderful things, she is also just a great friend – she is supportive, kind, and just an awful lot of fun to be around.
My mom set the bar very high. I know that I am the type of mom that I am because of what I learned from her and because I strive to be like her. I am posting this song today, because it says just about everything I want to say to my mom. The perfect Mother’s Day song! I don’t think I have ever been able to get through this song without tearing up. I love you mom! Thank you for your unconditional love and support, and for not only being my biggest fan, but my biggest inspiration as well.
