Well, I am finally here today. It has been an absolutely crazy week and writing my blog just never crossed my mind, or if it did it was quickly chased away.
As you know, my son fractured his wrist last Friday. It was a pretty severe break. After several complications and a doctor that made some questionable calls, we decided to go see a wrist specialist this week for a second opinion … and the next day my son was in surgery. I now have a Bionic Boy! I sure hope that the worst of this is now over and the healing can begin! I am almost ready to start wrapping my family in bubble wrap!
I love today’s song. Aloe Blacc (born Egbert Nathaniel Dawkins III) is a singer-songwriter from southern California who has really made quite a name for himself over the last few years. His success did not come overnight, although he has been involved in music since he was a child, but when it came it came quickly. His new album, Lift Your Spirit, reached number 4 on Billboard’s Album Chart, his highest position ever. This song is very uplifting and optimistic and just sends a great message. I think you will instantly connect with the song; I know that I did.
