Happy Veteran’s Day! Today, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to all of those who serve and sacrifice for our country. I have so much respect for the many veterans and their families and want to make sure that I express that support and appreciation today.
Today’s song title seemed fitting for the day. This is a brand new song from the Foo Fighters that was just released on October 20. It is a sweeter and more subdued sound from the Foo Fighters brand, and it is really a great song.
The song was released as part of the “7-Inches for Planned Parenthood” benefit compilation LP. All proceeds from the album will support Planned Parenthood.
As a mom, I just have to say how much I really like Dave Grohl. Earlier this year I watched an interview that he did with his mother and it was absolutely adorable. She talked about supporting her child who did not fit in the box and how she mothered a rock star. It was obvious how much he respected and adored her. It was one of my favorite celebrity/musician interviews (see below).
