SONG OF THE DAY – “YOUNG FOREVER” by JAY-Z, with Mr. Hudson
Today is my son’s birthday and this song makes me think of him. I love the original song by Alphaville – one of my favorite songs – but my son will appreciate this version. He knows and likes the original, but he really likes rap and this version just seems appropriate for a 15 year old boy. 15 years old!!! How can that be? I haven’t aged a day. 15 years ago today, my sweet little (not so little … he is now taller than me!) boy was born. He brings so much joy, laughter, kindness, and love to my life. Happy Birthday, little man! Could you stop growing up now?! I think you will always be young forever to me. I love you!
